Fans got a glimpse of OG queen Sonam Kapoor. Arriving at the Mumbai airport, the actress was captured by paparazzi in a video wherein she was seen making a head-turning entry at the spot, followed by candidly interacting with a cute kid. We couldn’t help but notice the outfit that she opted for to make hearts swoon and it was worth decoding. So, here we go.

Sonam Kapoor’s jet set look comprised of a chic check print blazer and a pleated skirt, proving the actress’s penchant for boardroom fashion. Crafted over a white fabric featuring black checkboxes, the blazer came with notch lapel collars, full-length sleeves, tailored fitting, front button closures, a back slit and padded shoulders for added definition. She completed the outfit with a black silk skirt that boasted a voluminous silhouette, thanks to the cancan. Additionally, the pleats, a calf-length hem and a high-rise waist added to the allure while also giving a sophisticated twist.

Sonam Kapoor is known for her maximal minimalism and we absolutely love that. To accessorise her outfit, she picked out a Lady Dior black textured mini bag to elevate the luxe appeal. Her black ballet pumps blended well with her stunning visage. As for her ring and gold hoop earrings, it was the exact amount of bling that her subtle outfit needed.

Channelling her inner glam, Sonam Kapoor decked up in glossy makeup that beautified her already striking features. It was characterised by drawn brows, muted nude eye shadow, rouge-tinted cheeks, pink lip shade, mascara-laden lashes and a dewy base. She styled her tresses in a centre-parted sleek bun, for a fuss-free and classy finish.

Work-wise, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the 2023 crime thriller Blind, marking her comeback after her pregnancy after a six-year hiatus. The film was a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. Directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, this film saw Sonam playing a blind woman trying to solve a case that involved the killing of innocent women.

Next up for Sonam Kapoor is Battle for Bittora, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel. More details about the project have been kept under wraps.
