NEW DELHI: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced on Wednesday that the Rose Bowl in Southampton will hold its inaugural Ashes match in 2027, as England’s men’s team takes on Australia in a five-match series.
The Rose Bowl, renowned for hosting the first-ever World Test Championship final in 2021, will be joined by Lord’s, The Oval, Edgbaston, and Trent Bridge as the other venues for the series.
Looking ahead, Lord’s, The Oval, and Edgbaston have also been selected as venues for the 2031 Ashes series, with Old Trafford and Headingley completing the list of five venues.
