New Airline In Indian Sky Soon; UP-based Shankh Air Gets Govt Nod – News18

Shankh Air, India’s newest airline, has received approval from the Union Aviation Ministry to begin operations. However, before taking to the skies, the airline will need clearance from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Notably, Shankh Air is the first scheduled airline to originate from Uttar Pradesh, with operational hubs planned for Lucknow and Noida. According to the company’s website, the airline aims to bridge key cities across India, providing both interstate and intrastate routes. Its focus will be on connecting regions with high demand but limited direct flight services.
