NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant on Friday visited M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to meet Delhi Capitals players during a training session ahead of their fifth match of the Indian Premier League 2023 season against hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Delhi Capitals are struggling in the tournament, losing four games on the trot, and the presence of Pant will definitely give a boost to the squad.
Pant, who led the Capitals for the past three seasons, has been ruled out of the current edition as the wicketkeeper batter is still recovering from multiple injuries sustained in a car accident last year.
“Look who made a visit to the @DelhiCapitals training here in Bengaluru. Hello there @RishabhPant17 #TATAIPL | #RCBvDC,” IPL official Twitter handle captioned with the post of Pant’s pictures.

Last week, Pant attended the Delhi Capitals’ home match against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The Capitals are yet to open their account on the points table and the David Warner-led side has failed to put up a collective effort on the pitch, and their batting has been underwhelming.
